Certified Organic Sunshine Coast – There is a great awareness for organically grown fruit, vegetables and meat, on the Sunshine Coast. More and more Sunshine Coast food growers and producers are opting for chemical free methods. Although there are many growers and producers that are using organic methods there are only a handful that actually have the required certification to label themselves Certified Organic. There are a growing number of organic retail outlets but the best place to source fresh Sunshine Coast organic fruit and vegetables is the local farmers markets or to subscribe to ‘boxed’ fruit and vegetable services – there are now many online options to order directly from the producers too.
