Little treat today - enjoyed a wonderful lunch at @viewrestaurantnoosa by @mattgolinski as part of the @noosabiosphere Gala and Awards - A celebration of community actions for ‘Grow for Noosa’ in the Noosa Biosphere Reserve.

As always Matt created a wonderful, locally inspired lunch. Sorry didn’t get photos of it all - bit off my game. But I can assure you it was all delicious. But here is the Davidson Plum and Blueberry Pavlova with Lemon Aspen Sorbet and the Arrowroot Crisp, Fraser Isle Spanner Crab, lemon Myrtle Aioli, Red champagne Finger Lime… and the menu so you can see what you missed.

Sadly also Matt last day at View, but can’t wait to see what happens next!

I am totally in love with this space. Felt like I walked onto a set of The Great Gatsby, and I was Daisy for the night. I like a bit of theatre and drama, so enjoyed watching the the cocktail creations parade before me.

I love my martinis and here, they mix martinis like no others.

The 1860 Occident was probably one of the best (if not THE best) I have ever had. So full bragging rights go to Le Bar

Made with Four Pillars Dry Gin (keeping it local ❣️), maraschino, a dash of bitters and housemade vermouth, and sprinkled with peppercorns, it is insanely good.

Chambord black raspberry liquor, French champagne and rose water, with a decadent trail of Persian fairy floss that draped like a feather boa from the glass. Just the right amount of sweet for me.

It’s no secret that I love seafood. Fortunately I have friends in the know, that treated me to an amazing night at the Lobster Cave last night.

And what a treat it was. From the moment we walked in we were spoiled.

The freshest in seafood that Melbourne can offer is what you will get at the Lobster Cave. Sweet succulent lobster from Tasmania, ocean fresh oysters from South Australia, melt in your mouth oestra caviar, delicious Mooloolaba prawns, sublime scallop ceviche, Moreton Bay bugs and the sweetest scampi.

These are the secrets that you can be grateful that your friends are happy to share.
